TasNetworks Eagle Strike Risk Model
Enviro-Dynamics, in collaboration with TasNetworks, designed a risk model to mitigate bird strikes on powerlines. By combining biological traits (wingspan, vision), environmental factors (prey and hunting behaviour), and engineering variables, the model maps strike probabilities across the landscape. These risk maps highlight priority works, ensuring targeted and effective mitigation of avian interactions with transmission infrastructure

State of the Environment Report 2024
Enviro-Dynamics authored the Land section of the 2024 State of the Environment Report, developing indicators and reporting on soil stability and condition, native vegetation extent and fragmentation, weeds, pests and diseases, and land use intensification. The report identified significant monitoring gaps and recommended stronger evidence-based management, consistent ecological monitoring frameworks, improved spatial planning tools, and greater cross-jurisdictional coordination to deliver better outcomes across all land tenures.

Flinders Island Weed Managment Strategy and Action Plan
Enviro-Dynamics, in collaboration with North Barker Ecosystem Services, updated the Flinders Island Weed Management Strategy to strengthen coordinated weed control across the Furneaux group. The project produced detailed distribution maps, prioritised and categorised weed threats, and set out a 15-year action plan with 5-year KPIs. Stakeholder-specific recommendations and monitoring protocols were developed, alongside practical tools such as targeted weed action plans and roadside management guidelines for landholders, council staff, and community groups. Strategies for eradication and containment were tailored to priority species and locations, ensuring resources can be directed where they will have the greatest impact.
