Dr Alieda Williams is a conservation ecologist with expertise in threatened species management, habitat restoration, and landscape-scale conservation planning. Her work focuses on understanding how land use, climate change, and invasive species impact native biodiversity, and on designing practical strategies that support both ecological and community values.

Alieda has led and contributed to projects involving long-term ecological monitoring, ecological risk assessment, and collaborative work with land managers, Traditional Owners and industry partners. She is particularly committed to translating science into policy and on-ground action, and to building capacity through mentoring students, delivering training, and sharing knowledge with community and stakeholder groups.
