Joel Bolzenius is a leader in natural resource management, First Nations engagement and strategic project delivery, with more than 25 years of experience advancing large-scale and complex land, water and environmental outcomes. He has built a career leading major initiatives that connect public policy, governance reform, community and Traditional Owner aspirations with practical on-ground delivery.
With expertise spanning land and sea management, tenure resolution, water reform, biodiversity, natural capital, Native Title, and disaster preparedness and response, Joel has worked at senior levels across government, regional natural resource management, and Traditional Owner organisations. He is known for building trusted partnerships, resolving complex cross-sector issues and delivering investment-ready outcomes in challenging policy and operational environments.
His experience includes statewide oversight of major land dealings, Native Title agreement implementation, leadership of strategic water initiatives involving all levels of government, and long-term work with communities, industry and First Nations to progress land transfers, management planning, and landscape-scale restoration programs.
