Morgan McPherson (Mo)

Environmental Advisor / Conservation Detection Dog Specialist

Morgan (Mo) has a variety of experience that has seen him manage projects and develop creative strategies to ensure the best possible outcome for conservation.

Morgan brings 10+ years’ experience in conservation and 5+ years’ experience in ecological and catchment management across South Australia, Queensland and Tasmania. Trained in data collection and analysis and with a Diploma of Conservation and Land Management, Morgan blends fauna detection, vegetation planning, and land management into practical, whole-of-landscape solutions. He has managed large environmental plans and coordinated multidisciplinary teams, overdelivering despite tight deadlines and budgets.

A clear communicator and educator, he has led workshops and public programs nationwide. He also brings experience in small-business management and not-for-profit governance. Morgan is Enviro-dynamics’ second conservation detection dog team member, as the handler of Pippa (‘The Wonder Dog’), applying canine scent detection to threatened flora/fauna surveys and biosecurity tasks. The combination of formal training, on-ground delivery, and organisational insight, make Morgan a versatile, collaborative contributor across both planning and implementation on landscape scale initiatives.
