Murray Kelman
Environmental Advisor / Fauna Ecologist
Murray has a passion for wildlife and research, with a particular interest in poorly known species and regions. His work with Enviro-dynamics began as a school-based traineeship in 2021, during which time he gained proficiency in weed management, river restoration, orthomosaic mapping, conservation works, and GIS.
After leaving for experience on the mainland, Murry worked in remote and regional Australia; including a stint as an expedition guide in the coastal Kimberley region of WA, while developing communications content remotely for Enviro-dynamics.
Currently based in Queensland, completing a BSc (Zoology & Ecology) at James Cook University, he continues to work for Enviro-dynamics on a seasonal basis, both remotely and on-site, with avian and zoological based projects.
Murray has broad ranging interests but is developing both avian and microchiroptera (microbat) specialties. These unique species offer gaps in research to be explored and developed.
In his spare time, Murray can be found searching for rare and unique wildlife, usually with a camera in hand.
