Leanne is a senior consultant and agro-ecologist with 20+ years’ experience in environmental and agricultural management, specialising in sustainability within grazing systems. She brings a practical, systems-based approach across soils, waterways, biodiversity and carbon, with a deep understanding of Tasmanian and mainland Australian landscapes.

A strategic thinker and skilled facilitator, Leanne has developed and implemented plans for non-profits and private enterprises, led sustainability consulting teams, and mentored practitioners in farm planning and environmental assessment. She designs and delivers national training and extension programs, leads stakeholder engagement and consultation, and is widely respected for translating complex science into clear, useful insights for landholders. Her work is underpinned by a genuine passion for monitoring and evaluation.

My happy place is outdoors - spending time camping, mountain biking, bushwalking or bird watching. I enjoy exploring Australia, often migrating north with tent and 4WD for the winter.
